As one of the 6 Core Practices identified by ACTFL for effective foreign language instruction, the "Designing Oral Interpersonal Tasks" session will provide teachers with the tools to design and carry out interpersonal communicative tasks that are standards-aligned, and that simulate real-life situations in all 3 modes of communication. Teachers will also learn how to provide opportunities for students to regularly engage in communicative tasks that allow them to practice the target language in each of ACTFLs three modes of communication: Presentational, Interpretive, Interpersonal.
