Participants to Making Readers gain understanding of the importance of text in a makerspace environment. The Making Readers workshop will include Makerspace theories of action, making experiences for attendees, examples of real projects and an opportunity to brainstorm ways to bring stories and reading activities to life.

Director of Library Services, Boston Public Schools

Debbie is in her 6th year as Boston Public Schools Director of Library Services. Over the last 25 years, she served as a library teacher in all three levels, was a public library director and worked in academic and health science libraries.
